“LET’S FINISH THE JOB AND DELIVER ZAMBIA’S HARVEST, TOGETHER.”

- President Hakainde Hichilema

Vision 2026

In 2021, you demanded change. We inherited a broken Zambia, parched by massive debt, failing schools, corruption, and violence—a barren field in need of care. But we have been tilling the soil and sowing seeds for harvest—seeds that promise a better life for every Zambian.

We have shown what we can do together. We have brought peace, ended the violence and united as one people. Millions more children are now in school, learning skills to fulfil their potential. We have strengthened healthcare, empowered communities through the CDF, cut the debt, and ensured those who stole from you face justice.

This progress is not just for the few—it’s for every Zambian, no matter who you are or where you come from.

President Hakainde Hichilema

Hakainde Hichilema (HH) is a self-made entrepreneur, businessman, farmer, and the seventh President of the Republic of Zambia.

Born into humble beginnings in the town of Monze, HH attended school barefoot before being admitted to the University of Zambia on a full government bursary.

President Hichilema became President in August 2021 following a landslide election victory with the highest voter turnout figures in Zambian history.

Since then he has successfully renegotiated Zambia’s debt burden, introduced free universal education, and attracted record levels of investment to the country to create thousands of new jobs.
