HH Arrives in Copperbelt

Fellow citizens,

After we arrived on the Copperbelt today, we spent part of the afternoon and evening in touring Kabushi Constituency in Ndola to interact and exchange views with residents of this area.

We made impromptu tours of the markets and stopped to console a bereaved family that had lost a loved one.

In all these visits, we are reminded of how Zambians of all political Parties and different persuasions are peacefully coexisting and living together as one people, without violence or threats of violence.

As we drove along the many roads of the Kabushi Constituency, we met colleagues from other political parties wearing their party colours, while canvassing for support for their candidates.

This is the Zambia we want, where everyone is free to belong to a political grouping of their choice without having to face any retribution.

We were gratified to learn from our people, how free education and the enhanced Constituency Development Fund has positively impacted their lives. Much remains to be done and we will do everything we can to improve the livelihoods of the people in Kabushi, indeed the livelihoods of all Zambians.
