President Hichilema Welcomes Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia

This afternoon Mutinta and I had the rare honour and privilege to welcome to the Republic of Zambia, His Excellency Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, and His dear wife and First Lady Monica Geingos who undertake an official visit to our country.

President Geingob is no stranger to Zambia as he lived here during the Namibian liberation days, and so we take great pride in welcoming him to our country, as Zambia is rightly his second home.

He will also be guest of honour during our independence celebrations this year.
