“Zambia is ready for business” - President Hichilema

Fellow citizens,

Today was an eventful, proud and fulfilling day for the country. As Chief Marketing Officer, we undertook to promote the country as a business destination for both local and international investors.

The Zambia Association for Manufacturers hosted the 'Proudly Zambian Expo' whose purpose is to showcase locally produced goods and assist companies to network and develop business connections.

The theme 'Shifting The Paradigm Towards Export Led Industrialisation' conforms to our Government's vision of localising value addition by supporting Zambian businesses through enhanced productivity and leveraging exports to Regional and Continental markets within internationally accepted quality and safety standards.

We therefore encouraged Zambia Association for Manufacturers to ensure that the goods they produce have predominantly local content from materials to labour.

Zambia is ready for business.
