President Hichilema Celebrates Veterans During Remembrance Day Ceremony

Today was Remembrance Day where we celebrated the heroism of a generation of brave men and women, who sacrificed their lives in defence of the values of freedom, in the First and Second World Wars.

We will forever remember their gallantry and their selfless aspiration to serve their country and people.

We also recognised our military veterans that have served with distinction and honour in different branches of our Armed Forces, and equally applaud all our men and women in uniform that serve our military with integrity, at home and in foreign territories. May God continue protecting them and keeping them away from harm's way.
