HH Visits Chipata Trades Cholera Centre

Today we visited Chipata Trades cholera centre to extend our gratitude and encouragement to the frontline staff that are doing a wonderful job looking after patients who are recovering from cholera. We donated chlorine for sanitation purposes.

As the World Health Organisation global champions for Cholera eradication, we wish to advise all citizens to ensure they take all necessary precautions against Cholera, including by washing your hands often with soap and water.

We also emphasized the need for us all to boil household water, or use other water purification methods, like Chlorine, where they are available.

We are working round the clock to control the spread of cholera and we call upon you all to support this effort for us to succeed together.
