HH receives the UK Foreign Secretary

Fellow citizens.

This afternoon at State House, we were honoured to receive the UK Foreign Secretary, The Right Honourable James Cleverly, MP, the first of such visits in more than 30 years.

The Zambian and UK government agreed to partner in various sectors of our economy such as mining, energy, and agriculture aimed at bettering the lives of our citizens.

Our main priority is value addition for the Zambian raw materials so we can create more jobs for our citizens and earn more revenue.

We also remain grateful to the UK for the continued support in various areas such as education, health and good governance, among others.
