HH Launches The Farmers Input Support Programme
We are replacing Farmers Input Support Programme (FISP) with Comprehensive Agriculture Support Programme (CASP) because FISP was focused on inputs and production to the exclusion of extension services. What we have done is to ensure that the missing component, extension services, is addressed so that farmers can increase their productivity. This is the reason we are hiring 500 extension officers.
