HH Holds Meeting With Africa Finance Corporation

Fellow citizens.

This morning, we held a meeting with the Africa Finance Corporation president and Chief Executive Officer Samaila Dalhat Zubairu and his delegation at State House, Lusaka Zambia.

During the meeting, we stated the need for collaboration in enhancing the tackling of challenges facing our country and Africa as a whole.

We illustrated our determination to ensure that we don't export raw materials, including people, but finished products and skills.

Issues of enhanced public and private partnerships to accelerate economic development also topped our meeting.

Ultimately, with the AFC, we agreed that Zambia and Africa must look within for economic solutions before looking elsewhere.

Once more, we remain grateful to AFC and other partners expressing interest to join hands with us and turn around our country's economy.

For us, every step we take counts and is always in the best interest of all.
