President Hichilema Hosts Uganda’s High Commissioner

This afternoon, we hosted Uganda High Commissioner to Zambia, His Excellency Richard Tumusiime Kabonero.

Zambia and Uganda have enjoyed warm relations that are anchored on firm historical political and cultural origins since our two nations' Independence in the 1960s.

Zambia will continue strengthening our bilateral relations and cooperation with Uganda in the interest of achieving social economic development for our two sister countries.

We conveyed our warmest greetings to His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, and the people of Uganda, while wishing His Excellency Kabonero the best for the future as he concludes his tour of duty as Uganda's envoy to Zambia.
