HH Welcomes His Majesty Paramount Chief Mpezeni and Chief Maguya at Community House

This afternoon, we were honoured to welcome His Majesty Paramount Chief Mpezeni and Chief Maguya of the Ngoni-speaking people to Community House.

We acknowledged the importance of working with our traditional leaders in addressing the needs of the Zambian people.

His Majesty reiterated that throughout his reign, which began during the UNIP government of Dr. Kaunda, he has always worked with the government of the day and would continue to do so.

Our open-door policy towards our fellow leaders remains unchanged.

We will restore the respectability and integrity of our traditional leaders.

We agreed to continued engagements as we work towards bringing development to our citizens. We have much to learn from our traditional leaders and will continue to drink from their cup of wisdom.
