HH Meets With Stakeholders To Find Solution To Energy Shortages

Following yesterday's tour of Maamba Collieries and and Kariba North Bank Power Stations, we met today with various stakeholders to chart a way forward in resolving the electricity challenges our country is currently experiencing.

We implored stakeholders' technical committees to closely collaborate and urgently look into various impediments that create challenges in the energy sector, and find lasting solutions that will help grow the industry.

We will seek to redress any law that inhibits new investment in the electricity market and any regulation that is a stumbling block in achieving our objectives to deliver for the people of Zambia, will be set aside.
