Today, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) convened an Extraordinary Organ Troika Summit of Heads of State, which took place virtually.

This morning we welcomed Heads of State, Government and delegates at the 22nd COMESA summit, in Lusaka.

We were honoured to be among hundreds of Namwala Community members who witnessed the traditional wedding of our daughter, Miyanda, to Meenda Milambo, at our Naminwe Farm today.

We held fruitful discussions with our French counterpart President Emmanuel Macron this morning at Elysée Palace, here in the French capital, Paris.

This afternoon, we met the British International Investment in London, who were represented by their CEO Mr Nick O’Donohoe. We discussed several issues around their investment in Zambia of over $100 million.

This morning we joined fellow Heads of State and other dignitaries from across the globe to witness the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla, of the United Kingdom at Westminster Abbey here in London.

This afternoon, we officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the 600 million dollars UREA fertilizer and ammonia plant at the United Capital Fertilizer Zambia Company Limited in Lusaka's Chilanga district.
